“Sequentialism” was a new media performance art project that allowed any user to add/subtract/alter the religion’s stated belief system through wiki software.

During my freshman year at Bard College, I created “Sequentialism” as my final project for a course on the history and future of theology. Powered by Wiki software, it . The objective of the project was to create a religion that was not only democratic but also dynamic to the point that its “followers” would rarely know its purported belief system given the hour. The project averaged 2k hits a day and received hundreds of contributions before upkeep became unmanageable.
